Scope
This policy covers the “Nova Daily Operations Report” application (“the App”), an internal tool built and operated by Nova Metals, Inc. (“Nova Metals,” “we,” “us”) solely for Nova Metals’ own internal business operations. The App is not distributed to, or used by, any party other than Nova Metals. It has no public users and is not available for installation by any third party or company other than Nova Metals.
What the App does
The App connects to Nova Metals’ own internal business systems (accounting, customer relationship, and production-planning systems) to retrieve read-only operational and financial data. The App uses this data to generate a daily internal operations report, which is delivered by email to a fixed, pre-approved list of Nova Metals employees.
Data we access
The App has read-only access to select accounting data (such as cash account balances and accounts receivable aging), customer and sales pipeline data, and production and order data from Nova Metals’ internal systems. The App does not create, modify, or delete any records, transactions, or settings in any connected system.
How we use data
Data retrieved by the App is used only to generate the daily internal operations report described above. Report content and underlying data snapshots are retained in Nova Metals’ own private Google Cloud infrastructure for internal review and audit purposes and are not shared with, sold to, or otherwise disclosed to any third party.
Data sharing
We do not share, sell, or otherwise disclose any data accessed by the App to any third party. Data is used exclusively for Nova Metals’ internal reporting.
Data retention
Report outputs and data snapshots are retained on Nova Metals’ internal infrastructure for as long as needed for internal operational and audit purposes, after which they may be deleted at Nova Metals’ discretion.
Security
Access to the App’s credentials and data is restricted to authorized Nova Metals personnel and systems. Credentials are stored using Google Cloud Secret Manager or equivalent secret-management infrastructure; no credential is stored in source control or shared outside of Nova Metals’ controlled systems.
